Adetola Abdullateef Adedimeji, a Nigerian actor and filmmaker, was born on February 1, 1986. Lateef Adedimeji was born in the Nigerian city of Isolo, in the state of Lagos. He is from Abeokuta, Ogun State. His mother, Kudirat Adedimeji, is a Nigerian trader from Oyo State. Lateef Adedimeji received his primary and secondary schooling in Lagos State. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Olabisi Onabanjo University.

Lateef Adedimeji began his acting career in 2007, though he has been acting since then. He became more known in 2013 after his performance in Yewande Adekoya’s film “Kudi Klepto.” Over the years, he has been in various Nigerian films alongside famous actors. He has appeared in almost 100 Nollywood films since then. Since the beginning of his acting career, his talent, combined with his sense of humor, has been speaking for him.

Lateef Adedimeji told us in an interview that he discovered his affinity for acting in secondary school. He was named Best Actor in a Lead Role at the 2016 Best of Nollywood Awards in 2016. He received a nomination for the City People Entertainment Award for Most Promising Actor of the Year in 2015. Due to their uncanny resemblance and shared sense of humour, Lateef is widely assumed to be related to popular Nigerian actor Odunlade Adekola.

Because of his writing abilities, he was also a good fit for UNICEF. Also, he was chosen by an NGO to be a counselor for an HIV/AIDS campaign, and he was given the task of creating an educational video on human rights and sexual issues, which he completed flawlessly and which has been added to his CV.

Antar Laniyan, a Nigerian film actor, producer, director, and successful veteran of the Nigerian film industry, inspired Lateef.

Adedimeji married his actress partner, Oyebade Adebimpe, in a colorful ceremony on December 18, 2021.
