NIGERIAN MUSICIAN OLADIPO OLAMIDE EMMANUEL BIOGRAPHY

Oladipo Olamide Emmanuel (Chinko Ekun) is a Nigerian rapper and songwriter. He was born on Septemer 13, 1993. Chinko Ekun is the second of three children born in Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria. Ikare, Ondo State, Nigeria, is his hometown. Chinko Ekun went to Oshodi’s Blessing Nursery and Primary School and Igando’s Remade Nursery and Primary School. He received his secondary education at Baptist Model High School in Ijegun, Lagos. Obafemi Awolowo University awarded him a degree in law. In the state of Lagos, he served in the National Youth Service Corps.

Oladipo Olamide Emmanuel is a music aficionado and a zealous supporter of people who enjoy being entertained. At the age of 7, he became interested in pursuing a career in music. He loved to listen to music and sing along to it. He did not have the opportunity to explore his career options until he went to university to study. Ekun was given the freedom to pursue his dreams and began posting freestyle videos of himself and friends on social media.
When he released his first song, Ekun, in 2013, Chinko shot to prominence.

Following the release of Ekun, Olamide included him on track 100 Million, Usian Bolt, and the Bang in his popular OT album in 2014. He joined the YBNL, which is led by popular Nigerian singer Olamide, in early 2015. After his contract with YBNL was terminated, Chinko went on to work for Dek-Niyor Entertainment in Dubai, where he released his first single, Alejo Oran and Emi Na Re. He was named the Best Street Hop Artiste by the Headies in 2019. This followed the release of his debut album, Able God, on October 13th, 2018. He collaborated with Lil Kesh and Zlatan Ibrahimovic on this song.

Chinko Ekun is currently single and has stated that he is not yet ready to marry.
