NIGERIAN MUSICIAN CHARLES ENEBELI BIOGRAPHY
Charles Enebeli well known as D’Prince was born on October 23, 1986, in Lagos, Nigeria. Hia father, Collins Enebeli, a businessman and the creator of the record label Sagitarious Productions, and Patience Enebeli, an international business tycoon. D’Prince is the younger brother of Don Jazzy, the music mogul and CEO of Mavin Records. This family has always loved music, and he is no stranger to the industry. D’Prince is also known as “Omoba,” which means “King’s Child” in Yoruba. D’Prince received his secondary school at Lagos’ King’s College before deciding to pursue his passion for music.
D’Prince’s music career began in 2005, when he joined Mo’ Hits Records after Don Jazzy returned from the United Kingdom to promote the label. He worked on his album, “Frenzy”. Mo’ Hits released it in 2012. He continued to create albums and singles in the years after that.
Don Jazzy renamed Mavin Records after D’Banj left Mo’ Hits Records. In 2012, D’Prince moved from Mo’ Hits Records to Mavin Records and released his first studio album, Solar Pelux. Amarachi and Take Banana are two tracks on the CD.
D’Prince had a child with Sharon Oparacho, a graduate of Coventry University in the United Kingdom, in 2015. The couple welcomed their second child together in 2016.
